Nancy is a retired nurse and epidemiologist, Distinguished Professor and Professor Emerita, at the University of Ottawa. She has received numerous awards including three honorary doctoral degrees. Nancy is passionate about global health and public health. Her career spanned five continents with research in lower- and middle-income countries that focused on maternal and child health inequities, HIV and AIDs, and capacity-building. Nancy believes that research can be a tool for positive change.
